Looking to combine both my love of classic automobiles and macro photography, I have decided to capture some images of my collection of 1:64 scale die-cast model cars. Working at high levels of magnification the depth of field is extremely shallow and this presents quite a challenge, when trying to capture the character of these iconic vehicles. This is the kind of technical challenge that drives me deeper into photography and allows me to continue to stretch my ability and further develop my own style.
